both have the normal scratches on the back, find an ipod more than a few months old that doesnt have scratches on the back, and youll surprise me. The video's battery life isnt AMAZING but it does hold a decent charge. batteries can be purchased cheap anyway in the future. the nano's battery life is like new.

both are prolly 7.5/8 out of 10 condition just for being used
