I'm aware, but as for size wise a 5 1/4 is the closest commonly sold size of speaker?

What kind of power do you want them to take, and what is your goal, sound quality, loudness, or a nice combination.

Component speakers alloy you to mount the woofer and tweeter separately in the location of your choosing, while a coaxial speaker has the woofer and the tweeter mounted together.

I'm heading off to bed, but I would suggest these for a nice high end 5'' component speaker set.

Morel Dotech Ovation 5

as for the speakers, how you like your sound? bright...deep? natural?

you have to go to a shop if you have shops near you and test some speakers and see which you like
