Sounds like bad rings or valve seals. :( If its the latter of the 2 its a fairly easy fix. If its the rings its a lot more work.

compression check will reveal rings if you put some oil in thur and the reading goes up, its rings. And honestly, if its valve seals, and its not buring a **** ton of oil, i wouldnt worry about it

drove my old 3.0 acclaim for 2 years with bad valve seals. it burned a quart between oil changes. Not too bad i guess.

almost 170k 92 civic ex-s sedanprolly rings. i know a few buddys who had the same problem with 1.5 and 1.6 honda motors with that many miles on them. drive it till it starts fouling the plugs. LOL. then takem out and cleanem and keep driving it.

Did u check the valve cover gaskets?

valve cover gasket stops oil from leaking to the outside of the motor and from pooling around the spark plug wire boots. there is no way in hell a bad valve cover gasket will allow oil into the combustion chamber. smoke out the exhaust means 1 of 3 things. water,oil,or excess fuel in the combustion chamber.

water = white smoke
oil = blue smoke
gas = black smoke

bad valve cover gasket = smoke under the hood , not in the exhaust system.
