I have a 46" Samsung LN46B550 1080p 60hz LCD TV right now, which is a great TV. But compared to the wall its on it looks small. I want to get a 65", but there doesnt seem to be very many that are top rated at that size.
I use it for a computer monitor/PS3 Games, and BD movies. It has to be wall-mountable. I've looked at several new TV's out, the bad thing is that they are new that no one has rated them. I want one that is proven to be good, but is still available to buy brand new. Plasma vs LCD, doesnt really matter, I just want a really good 65". Budget is $2000 or less. No 3D.
Any ideas?

Not 65" but its huge. My buddy has this tv and its very nice, the 120hz makes a big difference during game play or fast action movies.

Amazon.com: Panasonic TC-P65S2 65-Inch 1080p Plasma HDTV: Electronics (http://www.amazon.com/Panasonic-TC-P65S2-65-Inch-1080p-Plasma/dp/B00391Z89K) or other 65" sizes of different panny models
plasma might not work too well for your computer/ps3 usage though.
edit-- nvm, the s2 is the only panasonic line that offers a 65

65" is a size you'll probably only find in a DLP set, which wont hang on a wall.
60" is available in both plasma and LCD, but they are expensive.

Yeah if I back down 5" there are much better options.
How much of a difference is it to go from a 46" to a 60"? Numerically 14" obviously, but is it a BIG difference, or a moderate difference?
This is my current TV. (Although the entertainment stand has changed, I now have a subwoofer and everything is centered)

Meh I work for Sony. I even get a discount. We have Sony Bravia TV's all around. Im not a big fan of the shell style. Even with my discount I wouldn't want to get one.
I think that I have made up my mind though. The LG 60LD550:
