Hi i would like to replace the factory speakers in my 99 nissan maxima without the bose system. I would install seperates but don't want to make holes in anything. Can someone tell me what are the best speakers that would fit in the stock non-bose speakers holes. I have no problem using an amplifier thanks alot also try and keep it below $400

check out maxima.org anyway, doesnt the non-bose have tweeters also? if not, get the cdt cl61a's from thezeb.com. you will love them.

yo, i got a 97 gxe without the bose system. I replaced stock with alpine typeS . $60/pr for 6.5" fronts. and $80/pr for 6x9" rears. Im pretty happy with them, just make sure to give them about 3 days of normal play before you crank them. I would be happier with them if i got a four channel amp for them... but anyways good luck on the search.
