All I can say is that going from
Pioneer USA - AVH-P5000DVD - In-Dash DVD Multimedia AV Receiver with 7 Inch Widescreen Display (http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/Products/CarAudioVideo/In-Dash/DVD-Receivers/AVH-P5000DVD)
to
Alpine Electronics of America, Inc. (http://www.alpine-usa.com/product/view/cda-117/)
is :yumyum:
No IFS, ANDS, or BUTS(echs) about it.

Haven't put it up here yet... Had 3-4 of my buddies saying they want it so I'm going to let them have an opportunity at it before I put it up here.

Well I have had the DVD player quite a while and started thinking about how much I actually use the dvd player function so I said to myself hey why not try a new unit (this one is ~3 yrs old I do believe; and the GM shift column is in the way of motorization unless you manually move it up and back)... ALWAYS been a Pioneer junkie but decided to try something new and this just so happened to be the one I was most interested in. Glad I opened my eyes though!

I love my 9887.
I'm just ready to get off and have some more time to play around w/ it and make more adjustments. And hear boom boom too ;)
