Need some opinions...

I plan on putting a pair of 6x9's in the back of my Probe in a pair of carpeted boxes and need some opinions on you guys think as one of the better 6x9's. Right now, I am considering some Infinity Kappas, or perhaps Boston Acoustics. I want something that can produce a good amount of bass and highs. I will be supplying the speakers with approximately 80-100 watts RMS to each speaker. If anyone could give me some opinions on what they think is good, it would be very much appreciated.

go with some good 6.5" coaxials. They will be better than the 6x9's and distort less at higher volumes. Oval shaped speakers tend to distort easier than roudn ones. peace

Right, I understand that, as I do have a pair of Infinity Reference Series 6 1/2's laying around. But again, I need a little more bass, without putting a sub in because this would be a little cheaper. Well, maybe it wouldn't be.....
