Ok, I am using WInisd to try and design my first ported box. I am new to building boxes, and had some questions.

1. Is it better to put two subs in one chamber, or seperate chambers?

2. The gain graph on WINISD is confusing to me. What should it look like? Should the line go above 0db? If so, how much is ok? I just need to know what the gain slope SHOULD look like.

3. Does WINISD take into consideration port and speaker displacement?

Oh yeah, Im wanting a hip hop sound. Thats what I listen to mostly. What frequency should I tune to?

Oh yeah, and when calculating box volume, do you add in the space INSIDE the port? Here is a crappy rendition of my design. Subs are RFP1212 Punch DVC's. What is this tuned to? Do you see any issues with this design?

Box is 15x17x43.5 (exterior, using 3/4 mdf)
Ports are 13.5x2 26 in long.
I believe this is right at 5 cubic ft.

The gain curve shows as follows in WINISD with these measurements.

-3 db at 29hz
-1 db at 32hz
0db at 34.5
1db at 38hz
1.7db at 47hz
1db at 72.

Should the gain be higher at the 30-40 range? or am
