I have been looking for the 710BT a while now and found one on techronics but they don't have any in stock. I have also found the 7100BT and as far as I can tell they are the same unit apart from one being Premier and the other being regular pioneer.

Can anyone check these out and see if you can find any differences besides this and then let me know why having the premier model would be anymore beneficial besides preference of that line.

710BT:
Pioneer Premier DEH-P710BT CD, MP3, WMA, AAC Receiver with Built-in Bluetooth and 2 USB Inputs (http://www.techronics.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=product.display&Product_ID=10673)

7100BT:
Pioneer DEH-P7100BT CD,MP3,WMA,AAC Receiver with Built-in Bluetooth,iPod Controls,USB and AUX Inputs (http://www.techronics.com/caraudio_9957_Pioneer-DEH-P7100BT-CDMP3WMAAAC-Receiver-with-Built-in-BluetoothiPod-ControlsUSB-and-AUX-Inputs.html)

I have never ran either of these, but just reading the descriptions. The only thing I could really find different is this.
Pioneer DEH-P7100BT CD
"Motorized, detachable face "
And
Pioneer Premier DEH-P710BT CD
"Detachable face"
Like I said not much of a difference at all. Also if you look at the pics the premier is much more polished looking. By the way thanks for the links, I think I am gonna pick up the pioneer HU.

yea I had planned on using one or the other with a mac mini in my trailblazer soon, still have to pick up a touchscreen as well.

I suppose it's more just a "I have the premier model.." or "I have the regular model" type of deal.

I thought the only diff was a 2 yr vs 1 yr warranty from Pioneer? Been out of this for a while so I may be wrong.

Most premier units come with a better eq / more settings /little bs features / 2yr warranty. for example i have the 860mp and the difference between it and the 8600 is 4v and 6.5 v preouts mainly. sometimes they will add or delete ipod functionality.

doing the 7100, just still trying to figure out how to do the mac mini hookup deal with it. I have a rear usb but in my mind it'll be more complex than that lol..
