I have a 2005 F-150 Lariat with a stock radio and stock subwoofer. I'm going to be installing a different sub/amp and need to know how to remove the stock radio. Thanks.

forgot to mention this does not use the "U" shaped tools. It has the premium stock system with 6 cd changer and stock sub. It looks like I may just need to pry it, but dont want to risk doing the wrong thing. Thanks!

Yes the trim around the stereo just pops right off, then 4 small screws and the radio is out. Honestly the easiest car to jack a HU, unfortunately for us. :(

now adays.. almost ALL h.us are put in the same way.. front fascia pops off then 4 screws then unplug and go.. my car is the same but with 8 screws..
I pop the shifter cover off then unscrew 4 screws for front fascia and then 4 for radio
