Here is a good review of them http://momentum.soundillusions.net/march03/
It says that ported really opens them up to the world

are you talking about putting those audiobahns with the REs? thats going to be messed up

01-20-2004, 10:45 PM
no no..i was wondering if i can put 4 re8s in one ported box?....the audiobahns will be in seprate boxes

You can put the RE8's in one ported box. Tuned to 30-35 with .5cubes each. For power I recommend 100-130watts ;)

I have mine (4) in a single chamber box (2.0cubes) tuned to 32Hz and let me tell you, the bass is overwelming!

i was thnking about running 200 watts per sub..would that sound bad? i thought they were rated to 240 or 250 watts or so

01-21-2004, 10:07 PM
