I'm trying to fix the exhaust on my car and I'm having some problems. I have no access to a welder at the moment, and basically what I'm trying to do is replace the small flex piece right behind the engine. I have a new one, and it has adapters on the ends that make it slightly smaller than the stock pipe so it can slide into the stock on both ends. I put it in there and put a bunch of an exhaust glue that I got at the auto parts store (says it goes on as a liquid and dries into a weld) but I pulled into a parking lot and the **** thing popped out...I was thinking of trying to put some hose clamps onto where it overlaps and hoping it crushes the stock pipe enough to grab the new one but I'm not sure that will work...so I guess it comes down to, does anyone know of some better exhaust repair glue?

Thanks to anyone that actually read all that :D

I read all that, but I don't have an answer for you.
