Is this good to use?

I was wondering if the calculator here: Subwoofer Enclosure Calculators, Fraction to Decimal, Parallel, Series, Port Length and Volume Calculators (http://www.the12volt.com/caraudio/boxcalcs.asp) is good to use? I'm using the one for port length and wanted to know how acurate it is. Also I wanted to know where it says box volume do I put net or gross?

I would assume net. It defeats the point if you put gross.

Yeah I was just thinking how do you get your net if you don't know how long the port is
