View Full Version : FIBEGLASS, what wood to use?? Any better at adhering to fiberglass?? plywood??

I plan on building a semi high power ported build for alot of low power woofer. The box will be mainly wood, but will have some fiberglass parts like over the wheel well , spare tire well and some trim pieces etc.

Since i plan on doing a layer or 2 inside the entire bx, would a certain would be better than other to adhere or soak in the fiberglass better.

Im curious how to make the best bond between the 2 as I dont want this blowing apart cause I dont really get how fiberglass would remain strong to wood like that

Figured some of you pros might have some insight

I'de just use MDF though.

i dont know if this is just an accusation or not but it made me lol:ban:
