So me and my brother just put the 3100dvd pioneer HU in, and we grounded the ebrake wire.

It worked, and then about a half hour later we tried it again, and the picture wouldnt come up, not even the screen that said that it is illegal to watch the video while the vehicle is driving or whatever, just went straight to sound

anyone else ever have this problem

Its on an 05 chevy colorado

There's a display button on the screen, maybe you touched that?

U need to use a relay or wire a switch in. Search on YouTube for how to bypass.

i had that deck, you can order a pioneer bypassbox its like 25.00 and you can find it on ebay. you just connect a few wires and you have the option to play your dvd's when ever you want. i have heard you can wire up a toggle switch and that will cost you a few bucks.
