how much money is a router? can i get a cheaper one that'll still get the job done? i need to start making my trim rings for my doors....and my co-worker bill told me i need to stiffen the door before i do any fiberglassing on it...so i think ill use like 1/2 wood, something stiff...and i have to cut the door panel like hell...oh man this is gonna be crazy

any suggestions/ideas appreciated

I just purchased a router, a good one at that and it only cost round 70 bucks. Im sure you could get cheaper ones for 40 or 50.

I used a jigsaw... still somewhat in progress but you can check it out here:

Like I said, it's in progress but you can see the ultra high-tech device used for drawing the circle - folder, ruler, pencil, nail. As for cutting, take your time and allow yourself enough wood and patience to re-make one or two ... Remember an hour extra work to perfect will save you years of disgust!

heheheheeh...
there's also a tool which doesn't take ages to set up like a router and WAY more accurate than a jig.

DUstin will receive his in the mail in a few days.
