These components don't come with xoverse so Digital Designs suggest running them on a 4 channel using the internal xover of the amp. I have them on a st600.4 Stetsom 4 channel with mids on rear and tweeters on front. And the amp is clean as hell but xover won't work for what I want to do. So I have them xover with a pioneer premier xover but I think that the tweets are xover to high. Any suggestions on any good passive xover if you've compared any?

I've installed these in a car before and was impressed then but didn't have a lot of time to play with them. I just put them in my own car and I'm blown away. My friend with Focals in his car was even jealous. The midrange is so tight and pronounced along with a smooth tweeter. I can't believe how loud they get and still stay clean. The driver shakes my pants with it's output. :) They've played everything that I've thrown at them very well and I still have some tuning to do.

But anyone looking into a higher end component that plays rock, rap, dance, acoustic or just about anything loud and clean consider these.

Well I was in the same boat when I had my RF4004. I talked to steve at DD about options. He told me to use some caps for the tweets and just use the crossover on the amp for the mids. I never tried it cause I went ahead and bought the DD S4 amp, but I did however use the same caps for my DDC comp set that im using for rear fill. If this is something that you wanna try. I can shoot you the values of the caps when I get home tomarrow. I think they were less then 15 bucks thru partsexpress. Just shoot me a message if its something u wanna try and I will send the list over.

DD sent me a schematic of how to build a xover but wan't sure where to buy parts. So partsexpress has everything? Sweet.
