This is my first time using winisd pro. I need a lil help in the vent part when it is askin my port dimensions to get my port length.
Its asking for port width and port height right to get my desired port area right?

I want 29 square inches of port so my port width was gonna be 2 height was 14.5 to get 29 square ft of port.
In a 2.25 net box tuned to 32hz and its say my port length has to be like 70 inches. Where am i going wrong

I get ~27.25in of port length.
for 2.25cu ft with a 2x14.5 port, 70in of port would tune you just above 21hz
i dont know where yer going wrong, but if you cant figure out winisd, you need another hobby ;)

2" port width X 14.5
Vent Length =29.31 in
End correction what does that mean
1st port resonance what does that mean it is at 230hz

My total box width i have is 28 inches and i cant make a 29 inch port length. So where do you think i need to change up?

Just say its say 29 port length you is that the 2nd peice of port or for both

Ok now im past step 9. Basically done. Theres only 1 problem
I did the equation for S which is height
S=5149.44 divided by 392=13.1
5149 is the gross volume after displacements. and 392 is the product of 28*14 which is my width and depth.
Which means my box has to be 28*14*13
Only problem with that is that my port height has to be 14.5 so my box has to be 16 inches tall.
What to do? Plz help i am almost done with they design.

How old are you?
any displacements you are calculating are internal. add the thickness of the wood for the external dimensions
if you need the box to be 14.5" tall, then do that for your calculation and make it a primary dimension. you can have to unchanging dimensions (obviously your height for the port, now pick if you want the width or the depth to stay the same, because one of them will change to match your gross box volume)
its simple algebra.....

oh, and i dont have winisd PRO, so im assuming that any displacements are internal. It may be different for that program
