This is for Sierrawithdaslap on here, box is 14.7 cubes net with 258 sq in of port area tuned to 30 hz, its in a 97 Sierra extended cab. Its loud

Its called bracing fyi, it doesnt flex at all

With all do respect sir, that entire box will flex, you just can't see it. I had a 4" thick wall with 2 Solo X 18s flex on me. 3/4" rods added and I gained .8 db but that was strickly a competition build. If it's just a daily then you should be fine. Best of luck and enjoy.
That's a big *** box, and a big *** port. Tuned nice and low. It should absolutely slam on those low notes.

I was figuratively speaking when i said it didnt flex at all. If you want to get technical, i would say every box built flexes, some in just minute proportions. And this is a daily box, so yes the very little it does flex is just fine

I will as soon as he gets around to painting it. I got vids of it on my phone, but youtube wont let me upload them for some reason. Its doing hairtricks with both doors open, i'll get the vid of it up soon. It came out great and it pushes a ton of air, especially considering he only has a RF p1000 on them. I cant wait to see what it does with at least double the power

well of course its going to move alot of air. your port can fit shaq in it lol.
