Hey guys, working on plans for my new enlcosure. I'll make a build log. I was just wondering what people do besides carpeting their boxes. Carpet looks alright, but Im not a huge fan.
Paint? (I have plenty of paint in my shop, should I primer first?)
Line-X (or whatever) Ive seen boxes that have been bed-lined. Looked great and seems like it would really seal and bond everthing together. (little more $$$)
Any other ideas? Thoughts?

If you paint and want it to last I would definetly prime it. I have always liked the line-x but still haven't tryed it. there is vinyl

Yeah the Line-X looks really nice and probably adds alot of stability to the box. Im gonna price it this weekend.
Im more of a composites guy so dont know anything too advanced about painting MDF. Will oil based primer and some good paint hold well?

a little off topic, but before applying that flekstone, how many coats of primer would you put on?
and would you have to sand the entire box at all, or just primer then flexstone?
