Using 3/4 MDF

14x28x37 = 6.81 cuft

Using 2 6" Aeros 17" long from flare to flare should be tuned to right above 33 hz

What would that bring the internal volume to?

What is the subs displacement?

Without adding in sub displacment im coming up with right around 6.3 cuft

Thats just the ports i did. I didnt do the wood. are those outside dimensions or inside?

So everything else is correct? Don't know the subs displacement, can't find it anywhere. I'm guessing around .2-.3 so that should put it right at 6 cuft

Thats outside dimensions, thats why I said using 3/4" mdf

Your calculations are pretty close. You are looking at right around 5.8-6.0 cuft depending on your subs. If you add any bracing you will have to add that in also. GL

With full length aeros and a little bit of bracing you'll be right around 35-36hz tuning...box seems a little small though, no?

that sounds nice...boom boom

Yea its a lil small but I can't go any bigger and I don't want to sell it. That being said, I already contacted PSI about building a 15 out of the motor, stitched triple leads, carbon fiber cap, ect ect ect. So i'm gonna run this and see how it sounds and if it sounds choked for air I'll take it out, tear it down and ship it to him. So, we'll see.

lol, if you don't know the final internal volume then you have no idea what the tuning will be...

True, I understand what you're saying. I just used the PSP tuning calculator for that.

yeah it's a tricky process if your working with set outer dimensions. If one of our dimensions (L, W, or H) are variable it's easier, but if your set in those you have to keep re-calculating trying to get closer to your desired tuning frequency.
