I'm trying to find an answer online but not having much luck...like the Bash amps that PE sells have both a regular red/white subwoofer input and a single LFE input...

A LFE (Low Frequency Effect) input is just another name for a mono subwoofer input, they're the same thing.

As far as powered subwoofers with both stereo left/right AND LFE inputs... most home theater receivers comes with mono subwoofer output, in this case you'll disregard the regular red/white input and use just the LFE input. The red/white input is mostly for people running just two channels so they don't lose part of the bass when they use a stereo preamplifier.
