walmart sell mat, the one by me sells 4oz mat but you may only find 1.5 or 2 oz mat. if you are having trouble finding mat, try a paint supply store and get kitty hair.

the mat i bought was from an autobody store, Northwest Auto and Paint.
Besides, i found it MUCH cheaper online, so i think im just gonna ebay some. Im busy the next two weekends anyways

oh, and as far as other products go, i got polyrester resin, kitty hair, and some finishing filler that came in a big ol' tube that the guy at the auto body place reccomended.
resin was $60 for a gallon, kitty hair $17 for a quart, and the finishing filler $17 for a quart :crap:

Make sure you work in a well ventilated area. Or even get a respirator. The fumes will get in your longs and harden. It can hurt and i'm sure is bad for you. Plus you'll get a wicked cough.
And yeah, materials add up on you. But it's better than paying 100's-1000's at a shop lol.
To the original question: I would guesstimate ~3-4. Standing on it is a pretty good way to find out. Just don't crack it by trying prematurely.
