So I just lowered my truck and have stock rims which barely clear the front fender lips. Just wanted to see if any of have done it without actuallly purchasing the fender roller, which I could buy but don't want to since it would only be used once. Let me know if you've done this!!! Thanks :)

Fender Rollers are expensive as ****.... Idk know why but when i lowered my RSX Type S i used someone random *** pipe i found in my garage that barely fit and had someone push the car in neutral and rolled out my front fenders.. worked pretty well after a while but its risky as hell..

Old school way for tubbed race cars is to take a baseball bat and stick it on the tire and roll the car forward. :fyi:

That's my feeling on it. The rental isn't really bad for $50 - I mean you _do_ get the deposit back unless you someone manage to break it or lose it.

Plenty of folks on some of the import boards willing to do it for you too (for a small fee). I've seen some results, and they're generally excellent. You _have_ to take your time and use a heat gun or the paint will crack.

The thing is the rental guy is 2hrs away...it's not in my town. I forgot to mention that. I'll figure out something :)

Hammer and Dolly kit is like $25 at Harbor Freight... I have done probaby 10-15 cars that way... the right way (other than a fender roller)

If I had another friend that wanted to do roll his fenders I would problably buy it. But since all my friends drive lifted trucks they don't need them done lol. I'll problably try all the ways you guys have done it,but if I fail I will prob buy it and rent it on craigslist!!!! Lmao :) It would pay for itself :)

depending on the color of your truck, fenders for our trucks are only like 25 bucks lol. Id just use the baseball bat method and start on the front fenders if you mess up go to a junk yard or hit up craigslist.
