View Full Version : Looking for a 2bl Din DVD with the following

I'm looking to get a double din DVD H/U to complete my system and I wanted to get some of your opinions. I had initially thought about getting an Eclipse AVN726E, but after reading the reviews I decided against it. I'd like something that has the following features:

4 volt or better pre outs and it must have at least 3 sets (F, R, & S). Bluetooth built in and USB connectivity for Ipod audio. I don't really care about ipod video. I'd like to have an Audio/Video output so I can run a second monitor in the back of my truck for my daughter.
GPS is not 100% needed, I can deal with a H/U that has it, doesn't have it or can have it added later, it's really not an important option for me but is an added perc I wouldn't mind.
I'd like to have the ability to add a back up camera and capability to add Sirius later on down the road.

I'd like to keep the cost under or around $1000. The rest of the system is already ordered and I thought I was going to get the Eclipse, but like I said, changed my mind. The rest of the system consists of CDT components up front, CDT Coax's in the rear doors, Phoenix Gold RSDc 104 10" sub in custom enclosure, HiFonics Class D mono amp and HiFonics 85x4 for the mids and highs. This is all going into a 2006 Nissan Titan.
Thanx in advance for your opinions!

The Alpine IVA-W505 doesn't meet all of your criteria, but it's a hell of a nice unit. It has a ton of upgrade potential & fantastic iPod integration and can be had for around $700...

Great, thanx. That's one hell of an opinion that you have, which is what I asked for not links to search engines.

Thanx man, that's more along the line of what I was asking for. I don't need pages full of products for sale or search engine links, I'm just looking for some personal opinions. I've looked at every double din DVD player that Sonic has to offer and actually bought the AVN726E from them, but then after reading the reviews and complaints decided to cancel it.
That's why I cam here, to see if there were opinions or reviews that could help me make up my mind.
