You should lay the box down and put a port or ports in there and fire them back with the subs firing up.

you better at least port it if you decide to wall it

if i laid it down it would be better to put the ports facing the rear right????

im wondering how did you wire the subs to 2 800 bazooka amps

i have two of the subs going to one amp in parallel and the other sub going to the other amp in parallel..... so 2 to 1 and 1 to 1

Ok, i'll say it.....................you need to design a box that fits nicely in the car. You have plenty of room to work with, make it subs up and port back. Also, i see no bracing in the build pics, you should add bracing or put braces in your next box. You should do four subs on the next box if you are going to run two amps. The cuts and work on this box look good, so you have the skill and tools to do a cleaner build. How does this box sound?

How the hell are you powering 3 subs with 2 amps? I highly doubt bazooka amps are bridgable.

I think you mean "strapable"...................

You knew what i meant, lol. Im assuming the amps are mono. If theyre 2 channels why not just ad a 4th sub?

with a box that big you could have like 8 cvrs sealed deff make a ported box it will be way louder if you make it right

wire it 1 amp to 3 sets of coils, one set on each of 3 subs :fyi:

1 amp does positive - negative across the top set, then the other amp across the bottom

"Ported Box Volume (cubic feet) 1.75 - 2.25 "

I had one in a 2.22 cube box tuned to 33hz and it was pretty nice.

Box is wayy to big for only 3 and being sealed.

Sealed should be like 1.5 cubes each sub. So you could add 3 more and keep it sealed or add another one and port it. In the picture I see 4 boxes.

Hell I love it man, not because it is any good, but because it is identical to the first box I built in 1991. I did the exact same thing with (2) Lanzar red ring 12's. The box was nearly identical. I cut it in half twice before I liked it. LOL. That is so great to see how predictable we are as both humans and newbs. 20 years later and the same box is built as a first box. Of course I didn't have the internet back then. It was trial and error until it sounded as good as possible. By then you knew what you were doing. Better than cutting a box you found on the net and not knowing why.

In order to use what you have simply draw a line from each side of the top sub down to the bottom sub making the box a sort of pyramid and chop it. Like this: http://grab.by/2i8C

You'll still have TONS of airspace. Should beat the hell out of the lows.
