I have a Blaupunkt PA2100 amp powering my fronts - 110 watts per channel @ 4 ohms. I had run Focal 165V1 Polyglass comps there for the last 2.5 years. But, I recently had a woofer fail. I've been told a single replacement woofer will run me upwards of $120. For that kind of money I would rather purchase a whole new set.

So I'm looking for a decent replacement set for about that $200 mark.

Some that I have been considering;
Polk MM6, Polk MM6501, CL-61AT-25T PRO, DLS MS6A, ED e9.65i

Good, bad, ugly on the ones I have listed?
Anything else I should be looking at?

Thanks!

If you enjoyed your polyglass components before, I think you might be a little bit disappointed stepping down to one of these other sets. The polyglass are a reasonably more expensive set than any others you listed. You can get a new set of them here for relatively cheap at $319 Focal 165 VR (165vr) 6-1/2" Component Systems Car Speakers Car Audio Car Audio, Video, & GPS Navigation - Sonic Electronix (http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_10646_Focal+165+VR.html)

Otherwise, you could look into these as well: diamond audio - D661s - Diamond Audio 6.5" Component Speakers (http://www.woofersetc.com/p2715/D661s--Diamond-Audio-65"-Component-Speakers.htm)

memphis - 15-MCS6 - Memphis 6.5" MClass Component Speakers (http://www.woofersetc.com/p8184/15MCS6--Memphis-65"-MClass-Component-Speakers.htm)

Back when I bought the Focals, they were regularly going for $179.
I don't know if there was some change to the set that makes them now worth double, but I know I was shocked at their current market value.

As to if I liked them, I did... But I found the woofers just a little lacking and the tweets a tiny bit bright - even after being dulled down via the crossover and sitting behind my stock tweeter pod cover. Still great speakers though, and I would have instantly bought a full replacement set had they been still selling at that $179 mark.
