Hey guys I only run two speakers (5 1/4's) off my headunit and there rated at 50 watts RMS each

My head unit can only produce 18 watts RMS per channel. Would it be possible to tie in the rear channels to throw 36 watts per speaker?

or would that just blow my deck up?:p:

bridging channels on a headunit is kinda risky. For the small amount of power increase you get, i wouldnt try it.

on some of the early pioneer decks you could bridge the ch's...but i don't know of any newer decks that do this....

if you have the owners manual...it should have a wiring diagram showing if it can be done or not
