Greetings all! My name is Rick from Stamford, CT
My setup in an 02 BMW 330xi:
Head: Eclipse AVN6600-Navi, DVD, Sirius, ipod, steering wheel controls & bluetooth
Amp: Hifonics Zeus ZXi8006 4x110w + 1x300w
Front: Polk Mobile Monitor 6-1/2" component
Rear: Polk Mobile Monitor 6-1/2" coax
Sub: Polk Momo 10"
Not the most powerful, but it's a clean sounding rig. extensive modification had to be done to the heater box to accomodate the head unit. I found a kit on (uh oh) ebay from Germany to do this. It consists of a double din custom bezel and components to modify the heater box. Worth every minute and all the effort.
My next project is to build a custom FG sub box to fit in the well above the batt box in the trunk.
I'll get some pics up soon.

I've always liked the Momo subs. I bought quite a few of them when Crutchfield had their bogo deal.
A pair of bnib Momo 10"s for a little over $100 shipped was a hell of a deal...

The Polk sub has a nice deep richness, not a thumper-those days are behind me...LOL

Nice car. :)
Thanks. The main reason I bought this car was for safety. In Nov 08 I was in my 01 Audi A4 an got t-boned by an 04 Impala. I suffered severe injury to my left shoulder. 3 surguries, and I'm still being treated. The Bimmer is rock solid, AWD and has all the comforts I need. The insurance co considers it safer-so much that my insurance premium actually went down about $200/year. Not to nok the Audi, It did save my life-I walked away and it was awesome in the snow & rain.

Here are some pics of my install. It's not a high power system, but it's crisp & clean-does everything I want.
