T stands for Titanium tweeters, so i am assuming the set with the T have Titanium tweeters and the set without have silk.

Titanium domes have a bright and sharp frequency and soft dome tweeters have mellow smoother frequencies.

for the money the cl-61 aren't a great buy.. Id suggest the Cl 62s with the upgraded DRT 25 tweeter visit Vertex Audio - your best source for CDT Audio, Sonawall, and more! Best prices, best service, honest advice, and always authorized! - Vertex Audio (http://www.vertexaudio.com) give mike a call and see if oyu can get you the cl62 mids with the drt 25 tweeters...
