Ok, i just bought a box from a friend and i was wanting to know what it is tuned too. I measured it and it goes like this. LxWxH---34x13.5x17.5 I'm using 3/4MDF wood for two 12s. and the vent is inbetween each sub. Oh and the vent is 3inches wide and 12inches long. I dont know if this is all the info. yall need, i'll be on here for a good minute so i'll reply back quickly to your posts. and also, by the measurements of my box, do u think the RE SEXX'S will perform well in this box? because thats what im planning on puttin in there

Use a freq. generator to find the freq at which the cones of the speaker are barely moving (at this point the air movement in the vents should be at it's maximum). As a starting point this freq. is slightly above the Fs of the sub.

ummmmm? I have no clue on what you are talking about. Sorry, thanks for helping though. I thought there was a way for someone to help me out without gettin technical. I thought i could just give the measurments of my box and how long and wide my vent was. But i guess its not that important. I was just curious

What is the port height? If you can give me that i can give you a pretty close guess.

Your box is pretty much the same dimensions as the one im building right now but its for two 12 L7's.. and my port is One inch wider, One inch shorter in height, and .5 inch shorter in depth. Umm mines is tuned to 35 hz so yours souldnt be too far from that... hope my info helps.
