Well doing a box for a guy at work. He has early 90's S-10. I'm putting 2 Sundown e8's in it. The box is 49" wide 16" 10" deep at bottom 5" deep at top. Doing the subs flushed in and port out the side. So far the sides, top and front are on. Using staples and clamps ftw. More pics to come.

No, they end up peaking at something really high, like 50 hz or something. I forget the exact number.

I've heard them in bot hand sound great. I think woofercoofer has some as he just got the recone parts in. The new versions come out soon and should be killer. Saw a vid with 1 doin over a 150.

Actual specs and tuning of box?

Just received my SS RL-e8 today and will be started the box sometime this week.

Trying to get some other ideas on what I should go with.

Overall good progress so far.

Well i gotta give thanx to my buddy Justin for helping me do that as it's my first wedge box also. But I also bought a taper jig from sears that can help do it all. Box is 1.7 cubes tuned to 32. We are designing the port up now. But did a mock up port and it's 1.7 after port.

I've always been told port to pass so u dont hear the port noise if there is any. It should be louder than what he has now. He has a ****** sony 12 in a sealed box lol.

Well got the flush mounts done and all cut outs done. All that is left is put the back on and hit the edges with a flush bit.

wow dayum forum bugs. So watcha guys think. The guy plans to carpet it. But he really wants to rhino line it but that is a major pita especially to hide the staples and all we shall see. I used staples because he was wantin carpet lol

u can man. This is in a regular cab truck. U have to slid forward just a bit but the guy is pretty tall and it's fine for him.

dont have any better pics, with the seat in you cant see any cables, its pretty much maxed out with that depth of a box, I could fit about .977cu/ft box if i moved the amp, thats after subs and brace, was going to go with 2 sealed but I might just go with one in a ported. Do you know if that back wall carpet is removeable? someone told me I'd gain about an inch or 2 by removing that, that would give me enough room for 2 ported:)

I've been lazy and haven.t looked into it.
