That looks real good. A little back bone and off you went. I like the pattern in the fiberglass. Was that cloth? I am doing a bid of fiberglass myself, but your looks good.
Is it totally enclosed?
Does each sub have it's own encloser?
I dont see why you could not port it. I would go for round ports and cut a circle in the fiberglass and glue or fiberglass a port into it. But you are going to need the volum of the encloser first. And I would make both subs have their own encloser.

no its the same enclosure for both subs.... i didnt really feel like chambering the box , heh maby i should have .

it is pretty much all sealed up.. a few leaks but im gonna take care of em.

ill make sure to post new pics when i trim it up and sand it.... and eventully paint it.

All i get is red X's, no pics. Probably because you are linking from a geocities site.

Ah, they are workin now. :thumbsup

EDIT: Is that box actually attached to the trim pieces? I thought you were supposed to put a barrier(tape, foil, etc.) between the fiberglass and what you are molding it to.

They still don't work for me.........upload them to your gallery, GeoCities has a bandwith limit.

Ya, thats an interesting paint job...... and your bumpy fiberglass, ya.......and more stuff, but ya lol. How does it sound?

12-19-2003, 05:43 AM
just out of curiousity...

how many layers of fiberglass matte did you do on the inside?

12-19-2003, 05:44 AM
It looks really bumpy, and I really, really don't like the camouflage.....but other than that it looks good. :thumbsup

12-19-2003, 05:02 PM
haha.. the camo pattern is just the fleece i used... it could have been a carebears pattern for all i care, its gonna get painted anyway heh.

1 layer of fleece soaked in resin and about 2 layers of matting.. flexes just a bit so im gonna slap on another layer

sounds pretty good.. just fixed up the leaks, gonna post a few new pics tonight or tommorow when i trim it up

12-19-2003, 06:41 PM
Whew....thank god that's the fleece.....I thought you spent hours upon hours painting the box in a horrendous camouflage pattern. ;)
