When I was prepping my '87 Fiero it looked like that but it was metallic blue, yellow and black covering the ENTIRE car. I ended up actualy likeing is so I just left it like that for a year or so, then I put it up for sale so I had to paint it. Don't forget the flex agent when paint time comes ;)

doors are primed and hopefully i start deadening tomorrow. weirdness went on with my ssa order and i got sent some old old damplifier pro instead of regular black damplifier. i called and talked to anthony (GREAT guy btw) and he just sent me a new pack of black free of charge. that's great customer service! but i think ups did something because the package was scanned on the 18th of december and just got here yesterday, the 4th of january. oh well **** happens but it's all goood.

feedback is welcome guys.. feel free to let me know what you think good or bad

i say NO to ohio :)

good job, but why a 76?

last year of the round headlights. i hate 78 and up because the noses are too square. i love the look of the '77 but i didn't want a smokey and the bandit clone or whatever people call then now. i call them redneck. i will not have a bird on my hood. i wanted a '73 but this is a 76xxx original mile car and it was the colors i wanted. plus the price was right. i'll get a pic of the interior because it is beautiful. still ahve a tear on the driver's seat and the headliner needed re-upholstered but everything else was scrubbed and is flawless.

google 'ban 1 trans am' and you'll see what i'm shooting for minus the gold trim and front clip. the only decent anything to come from that movie..besides the chase scenes

you sound like my dad

i thought like that till i found out how much better almost everything is on the second gens: steering, brakes and the overall ride. everything except the body of course. sure you can get a full c5 corvette subframe with disc brakes and tubular control arms and rack and pinion steering but that's two grand i didn't want to spend

haha. in that case i'll get some pickys of my uncle's '70 442 and his '53 chevy truck for ya

thanks for the comments lol i'm just glad i didn't show you the shelby rampage sitting in the stall right next to it. you might die if you saw an 80s (eerm i use the term loosely) muscle car :)

thanks! :) but there are too many '69 camaros out there. do a '68 and be a ******! or be a real lame old guy like my dad and do a ss/rs '67 haha. i just like doing something a little different.. if i had unlimited funds i'd do an amc javelin. i like having the only one on the block you know? nobody does nice second gens here so that's what i pick

i need some help with some positioning. the box is going to be in lieu of the back seat on the driver's side. would the best combo be sub and port forward? if yes port on top or port on bottom.
port (and sub?) to the side and use the trim as a loading wall? seal the trunk completely and face both to the back of the car?

i know this isn't the ideal placement but i'm trying to make the best of it
thanks in advance

Nice work. Im looking at picking up the exact car for 500 bucks, complete rustbucket but shes got the big boy 455 under the hood. Been sitting for 10 years but was running when parked, someone stole the wheels off it. Should be a fun project. May swap the engine into my daily driver and just scrap the body. Car has 40k original miles.

yeah the other side of the shaker says sd455 ;) nice find. mine was more than that and wasn't worth what we got it for.. it eats cam lobes like a mofo.. well used to. hopefully the rebuild is a-okai and the bigger cam pays off. but it will be getting a butler 462 sometime. sometime..

thanks. that stang of yours is beautiful by the way. the front bumper looks ****** and makes it look even more like a skyline. i approve. ug don't tell me about rattles. it's mostly the dash and that's gonna have to wait till i can replace the windshield but there's gonna be 100 square feet of deadener in it so fingers crossed. uum i'm going with that sundown 1200 for the amp and either a 15" xcon or havoc..or two 12" icons. i'm leaning towards two icons because.. not really sure why. if i can nab two with inverted dustcaps it's a done deal. alpine v12 for the mids and tweets get the 3622. no idea what to do for the speakers themselves..

i asked my neighbor to give a mini fiberglass clinic cause he builds big *** rc planes. it ***** *** and i'm not looking forward to doing pods but here you go..

I can get some pics sometime. Its not much worth looking at though, i know the motor is supposedly built with forged internals and stuff according to the guys son that owned it (owner died).

Car has rust behind the front wheels, bottom of doors, the rear window has rust around it, and the rear quarters. All the plastic and such is in good shape, its got the original paint (white with burgundy interior)

Lady also has 2 late 70s camaro z28s, both run but also had the wheels stolen, may get those depending on what my money looks like. ***** is stocked up on cars. I really wanted the 67 impala coupe she has, but she wont come off it.

First thing im gonna do is drive it to where i used to work when i get it, my boss used to have one but he had to sell it for something, gotta tease him. Lol

Btw, how much would you say one of those is worth, in the condition i described? Camaros are in the same condition, all original but rusty. None of the cars have t-tops btw.

Oh yea OP, i see you wrote 6.6 on one side, and Super Duty 455 on the other, the 6.6 would be a regular old 400 ;) Though there aint nothin wrong with a 400, theres 2 laying around here under my shop.

it's got a mild cam and a 2 1/2" stainless exhaust. that's the extent of the motor mods. when i need more power and better handling i'll buy a c5 corvette subframe and throw that and the butler 462 in there.. :) key word is when. well this is a minnesota car that was poorly stored and the 'only' rust was on the floorpan (i'm guessing the drivers one was rusted and fixed with fiberglass) and the sill of the door. the hood needed it too but it had been bent so we got a new one that was rusty. so i say it's worth more than 500 less than 5000 but i'd have to see it.. and i'd be wondering what's going on with the motor if the body is that eaten up. i'll try to rephrase that when it's not 30 minutes after work on a friday

lol bodywork is far from done. Motor is .30 over 10.5:1 compression JE pistons, balanced and blueprinted, .525 lift 302 duration comp cam, ported and polished double hum heads, victor jr, 750 double pumper, msd 6al and the list goes on. Car has ran a best 12.60 at 108 to date on street tires. It was built to spray but I havent gotten that far. Ive got nearly 10 grand in the drivetrain and the car still looks like crap

This. Then lay some deadener in between the floor and the FB. Won't make noise. Will stay in place. Will use all available room.
