escort laser shifter

i'm trying to find out if anybody out there has installed one of the escorts laser shifters. I was also wondering if anybody knew how legal those things are. I am thinking about installing the escort sr7 with the zr3.

I have the SR7 in my ride....and that's the best radar i have ever seen. It has saved me at least 10 tickets....i thought about the ZR3, but the SR7 worked so well that i didn't install the ZR3
