Hey guys. Just another n00b to tag along and try to learn something. :crazy:

I am 25 years old. I am a commercial painter but much prefer to do computer maintenance and repair and custom builds.

Just got into car audio a few months ago. I am a member of DIYMA, ROE, and now here.

I have a 91 Nissan Maxima
Sony Xplode HU
Sundown SAE-1200D amp
2 Treo TE 12"s
Subzero prefab box :furious:

Yellow top under the hood
Kinetik HC800 in trunk
A couple house speakers inside the car
Waiting for some focals or a good compoonent set to come my way :greedy:

Welcome. Definetly get rid of that sony hu and get some actual car speakers otherwise sounds like you got some decent stuff :)

Yeah, I'm a poor guy that has to buy my car audio stuff one small piece at a time. So a new HU will be after building a real box. Then some component sets :)

I made the mistake at first of buying a single cheap 12, then a couple cheap 12's, then a little better 12's.

So now I just save up and buy the good stuff the first time.

Yep, now it's time to do big 3 in 1\0 and install the Kinetik.

Can you guys recommend me a decent budget HU?
