Need a new HD. Which one??

I am looking for a nice SQ headunit with Ipod. After looking for a while I have narrowed my choices down.

JVC KD-R900 (Some of the best specs ive seen. 5 volt output! However it's JVC so....)

Kenwood 942u (Great specs, but ****** interface.)\

I'm stuck between the two. I guess both Kenwood and JVC are the same company now? I was looking at alpine 9887 but I have to buy extra **** for iPOD. Any others suggestions?

It doesn't really get any nicer than the Alpine with an Ipod for Sq. The ipod cable is $30 or less on ebay. The Alpine has stronger outputs than the JVC and sounds better. Test them on a meter and you'll see. I'd take the Kenwood over JVC. Other than that I'd be looking at the Eclipse CD5030.
