Just doing some small stuff for now. I've got a Fi BL 12", Pioneer 4100 Double Din on the way, along with 2 sets of Polk Audio DB651's, and a Sundown 1200 to power the BL.

I'm getting a custom box built (for the right price this) this time so should be pretty good to go. Will be 2.5 ft^3 tuned to 34 hz

Will get some pics. Not by any means going for SPL or anything revolutionary. Just a clean build with a nice headunit.

Will be nice for me at the very least

Also adding a spoiler to the cube :rolleyes::rolleyes:
Will get pics soon

i'm excited to see this. the Cubes are quite unique. going to involve the wrap-around window into anything?

Thanks but not sure yet about the wrap around window. The next paycheck (once I'm done building the sub and speaker stage) will be getting tint all around. I'll also be changing the back bumper in a minor way ;)

i say make the box very conceptual; like the vehicle. match color. have Cube illuminated, plexi'd or even just stencil painted on it somewhere. go nuts ha.
have fun.

I am running a similar setup in the Suzuki SX4 and i cant for the life of me think of a good, durable box finish.

Haha that is exactly what I'm going to do! Fisrt comes box build then the finish (gotta sound good before I spend that much time on it).

As for your finish, go with rhino bed Lonny. It lookspretty sick on a box and has a lifetime warranty lmao

oh man the box is just screaming for some glass and a nice molded shape to contour the hatch area!

I think you missed the train there, but another is coming in 20mins!:p:

nice box thou!

Yea it is one ****** stapler. It's a bostitch air stapler. The staples are just to hold the sides together for the glue to dry. Instead of screws staples are faster and do not weaken the mdf like screws can(or split the **** out of it). yea molding would have been the *** but glass would have brought the cost way up. As this was a much cheaper solution. Missed the train not really sure what you mean by that.

If the box isn't too tall, it looks like a beauty panel can be made to make the enclosure blend in with the car. Hinges can be added so that empty space at the rear of the hatch can be accessed.

That was the plan :)

still deciding where to put the amp. Might have room under passengers seat

and ohm meter is for sub. I'd like to double check it (long story)

I think we have room to just put it on the box between the box and rear of car.. I have some rubber to mount between the box and amp to keep down vibes thats what im doin in my car. And if u want we can get some 1/2 mdf and make a beauty panel unless ur doin plexi glass. 1/2 plexi 1/2 painted mdf would be the ***
