12-17-2009, 12:44 AM
This will be the first multi point event in the Midwest for the 2010 season.

(Entry fee pricing)
dB Drag or Bass Race for $40
Both dB Drag and Bass Race for $60

This is way cheaper than the cost of 3 1x events plus the driving that would be involved. Don't pass this one up!

(Mileage discounts)Actual mileage will be calculated using your home address to the event location with our Blackberry GPS.
300+ miles $10 off total entry.
400+ miles $10 off dB Drag or Bass Race. $20 off both.
500+ miles $20 off dB Drag or Bass Race. $30 off both.

Longest drive FREE entry!

If you are not eligible for a mileage discount, there is one more chance to get some money back...
Any Team of 3 or more will get a $10 discount per person ie. regular entry for dB Drag is $40 but with Team of 3 or more discount, you now get the entry for $30 or if you do both dB Drag and Bass Race, you will get it for $50 instead of $60.

Timeline of events(tentative)

Saturday Jan 2nd
Open practice 1pm-2pm
Registration & Qualifying 2pm-7pm
After party 8pm-?

Sunday Jan 3rd
Last chance Qualifying 11am-1230 There will be an extra $10 fee to qualify on Sunday. This $10 is considerably cheaper than the hotel cost if you came on Saturday. If the $10 is too much then we would be happy to have you out on Saturday and will make the event on Sunday go much smoother.

Eliminations begin @ 1pm sharp!

There will be a heated tent for competitors to stay warm in as well. Hot chocolate stand right next store to the show too.

Thought about it, but I have to work. :(

Plus the truck still has no front brakes, which might be a slight problem. Haha.

why didnt ron goodings score count? thats bullshit! that score shoulda counted especially because he blew his amps! he shoulda been the winner on the SS 1-2 (161.4) was clearly the highest number of the day by 5 db. no one was going to touch that number.

Now your just pissing me off.

You obviously dont know anything about db drag racing, Rons score does count toward his certified. He was eliminated during brackets for a voltgage infraction while the 30 second clock was running.

Since your such a ****ing expert you should know these things and not make yourself look like a ****ing tool every time you touch your keyboard.

Rules are rules man.

It's a 3x event. The rules have to be followed closely.

Ron's score still counts towards his certified, the only thing he doesn't get is more points for coming in 1st versus 3rd.

That's how db drag brackets work. I don't see what the problem is?

It doesn't matter what score you do in qualifying, it matters what score you do ALL THROUGH the brackets. It's just like drag racing. Does the guy who qualified the fastest but blew up his engine in the 1st round win the whole event?

And yeah, I'm sure you would have driven all the way out to ohio for a db drag show just to "take the whole event".

Because obviously you don't know how db drag racing works.

So instead, next time, instead of hurling out insults, how about you learn a little bit about how things work.

Maybe then you won't look like such an ignorant douchebag. If you don't know the whole story, then don't post.

yeah, i like my music playing abilities, i'll never pay that kinda money to just burp my system.

i got my ankle monitor that says i cant go outta state.
and i should have known all the facts, but i was stating my opinion.

that:
a 161.4 was the biggest number put up at the show. and after a person puts up a number like that they shouldnt have to burp 4 more times unless someone can actually beat that score. it could have prevented damage to a system like what happened.

That's not how db drag racing works.

You qualify, and have to go through eliminations.

If damage occurs, then it's the competitor's fault.

If you want to burp once and leave it at that, then do another organization.

how does the voltage get metered? how was that infraction determined. im just curious?

and no i have never competed in your orginization. so yeah i should learn how the rules go first!

but my opinion makes sense if you think about it, the competitors and the amount of money they put into the systems. the top qualifier should be the score to beat, and everyone else should be forced to chase that score till it is beaten.

Since ron competes in superstreet, his voltage is not allowed to go above 18 volts. A meter is attached to the power wire leads and set on peak hold.

I'm guessing during his run he set his regulator too high and went over 18 volts during his run.

Hey like I said, db drag racing is what it is. If people don't like having to go through eliminations then they need to compete somewhere else.

Ron has competed in db drag for many years. I'm sure he's ok with what happened and it won't deter him from competing in the future. :)

it went like this, his run started and he turned on his amp, and burped. During the run his voltage hit 18.9v. His van was off! We tested again with both dmm's and it appereared to be an isolated occorance. We used the dmm's all day and no other problems. We had to go by the rules and he was DQ'd in that round

***** because his van is impressive! He hasnt had the new stetsoms for long so he's still working the bugs out. Could be the batts to, but he is also fixing that situation.

The rules are part of the game and to play in db drag to need to follow the rules.

Your no different than every other nobody that cant hang with the big dogs in db drag. You have plenty of excuses and what ifs to feed your case but you dont jump in the mix because your a felon and cant leave state or your grandma died or whatever the ****ing excuse is. No "window warriar" here chief. I just dont care for your attitiude.

And for not being loud, last year I had the 3rd highest certified score for street c in all of North America. Year before that I finished 4th at the DB DRAG WORLD FINALS in Indy, and also finished 4th in Bass Race at the same event in the 149.9 class.

So how many events have you won or even attended? So far all you have done is talk yourself up and post some silly azz videos of your half azz wall build, which is done very very wrong btw. The door panels turned out better than I thought and actually showed some promise. Its clear you dont know what you are doing and then you offer bad advice to people on this forum that might not know any better.

Its clear you dont know what you are doing and then you offer bad advice to people on this forum that might not know any better.

here ya go DBDRAGFAG, all my builds play music, all my scores are off of a mucical builds. my highest score from last year was a 156.6 with an unsealed wall and at 43hz, a 153.4 at 34hz LEGAL on the glass. i also bass race the 149.9 class. this has been my hobbie now for 18 years and last year was my first year able to compete again after being gone for 10 years. And i refuse to build a system for stricktly a burp only, and not be able to enjoy it. when you take first place at finals then you can talk ****. till then your in line like everyone else.
