What are the advantages to making a box smaller? Tuning will remain the same, 38.

Sub is recommended for 1.1-1.5 cubes, I currently have it in 1.48 gross, seems a little bit big for it. I'm throwing 900 watts at it right now too, and it's rated at 600. I think putting it in 1.26 cubes would help with the extra power and be a little louder? I don't want to give up how good it sounds on music though.

What do you guys think?

It'll peak at a higher frequency.

Why do you think its too big @ 1.48? Its more efficient and plays deeper in that enclosure.

your box is fine for daily your not going for numbers primarily so keep it how it is because its sounds**** good for a single 10 and gets decently loud even though it looks tiny lol

Well I was debating between 1.40 and 1.26.

We're building a new box either way, so I just wanted to see.

Good, you need to mount your 100/125.4 to something that's actually solid.

Please please please try to get Monday-Wednesday off. I know I won't have to work those days.
I'll need a box to mount my battery. Where I'll put it I don't quite know yet. Also going to need an amp rack between the seats, and I want to cover it. Maybe some plexi would be ****
