anyone ever play with these subs before? I've had a 12 and liked it so I just went and picked up a pair of 10's.. Only plan to use one though.
JL recommends .625 sealed for it, minus displacement would be .557?
That seems a bit small for me.. Anyone try the recommended enclosure yet? I was thinking more like .8-.9 cu.

For completely flat response, qtc of 0.700 = 0.96 cubes
qtc of 0.725 = 0.85 cubes
qtc of 0.750 = 0.76 cubes
qtc of 0.775 = 0.68 cubes
qtc of 0.800 = 0.62 cubes
(btw jl audio doesnt put in displacement, so the recommended is .625+ sub) which gives you about .79 qtc
The enclosure I did was right around .75 cubes + sub. Worked splendid

I may have to try that..so about 8.2cu?
Might be a noob question but I've been out of the hobby for a while.. Should I go bigger if I'm looking for some good low ends?
