Maximum dims are 40.75" tall x 42" wide x 67" deep internal. Trying to peak <45hz on music. Also trying to utilize cone area over wattage. Ideas?

he said hes looking for ideas so throw some out obviously. i say go with 4 18s in a wall and do 4xl 18s so u will only need like 8k to get nasty loud (compared to other vans with like 30k)

18 15s sealed clamshell. Setup is win, trust me.

I considered the sealed clamshell Gmonk, but the subs aren't particularly good in a sealed application. Figured that would be an issue..

ok guy i was makin a crack at teamsouthernbass. i told my opinion already. 4 18s. less subs and wont need thousands upon thousands of watts.

I think 4 18"s would need more power due to the lack of cone area...

well being 42 wide then maybe you wanna go with 15s so you can have enough width for the port. 6 15s

Current plan was 8 15"s in a 4th order. Just looking for any other great options before I do that.

that works. what kind of power you looking at?

Planned on 36-40,000 watts. But if I can get some more cone area from it in order to use less power, that would be great.

well u have plenty power. thought u were slackin in power. still 4xl 18s sound good for that for burps but daily level 5 18s would handle that easy. that is in that 8 15 BP u mentioned.

the reason that 4 18s sux is people dont do the math...
while 4 18" giant cones moving is awesome... to this day and age coils are unable to handle larger loads than 2-3500 watts rms... it is better to have several high power coils to disapatte that energy...
soo i say 20 12"s
5 stacked high
2 stacks on each side in a walk through

Basscort you do realize I'm not running DC subs right? lol.
Monty I can't picture it. Bear in mind that I wanna keep the port on drivers side.

8 15s would be great.

You think so? It would be similar to Steve Mick's design. 4 facing 4. Only way I can think of fitting it..

I would like to see a vertical clamshell with a loading wall on the front and a port behind the drivers side. Eric Alexander did that a couple years back with 24 Crunch 12s and he was in the 60s on music.
