Sup, I am planning on buying 3 15"s within the next month, and I am going to start box construction within the next couple days when I decide on the sub, I think I am leaning toward the 15L7's right now, but would these dimensions (53"-L 23"-W 16"-H) be enough space for it?(will be a sealed enclosure)

thats like 11 cubes I presume outer box volume.
So inner would be like 10 or so maybe 9.5...

Yeah that would be enough for sure. you could probably go ported as well.

3.3 cubes a sub ported would wale.

cool thanx...is ported sound better than sealed? I don't really know the difference in sound

ported will have a larger output, or be louder, while sealed gives u a tighter bass. If tuned correctly a ported box can almost sound just as good as sealed, and for me I really dont like anything but ported. For those subs I'de only recomend ported because in my expirience they dont show their potential in a sealed box.

L7's should not go in a sealed enclosure. They would not be happy.

Before you start building, I would make sure of what sub, then go to that manufactrues website and get the specs and build per that... They usually list what type (Vented or Sealed) that the driver works in...

What kind of ride you puttin this in? How are you powering it? Just curious... Whatever it is, It should slam though with 3 15s"

I think I have changed my mind to the Re XXX's...would 3 of those 15's in sealed sound good? And how much do they run per sub? As for power...I've already ordered a 220a alternator for my car, and i'll buy a battery or two when I get the subs and stuff. Let me know what you think! Late
