I purchased an AVIC N1 off of him about 3 weeks ago.The unit was described as working but having problems.This thread is not about the unit itself as it was as described.
This thread is about the transaction side of it.He didn't want to pay the PP fees so he asked that I send the money as a gift.Payment was made and shipping was set for Friday.Friday came and no tracking but a PM explaining that he felt like **** didn't go to work and thought he had the swine flu.So he says he will get it out Saturday.Saturday comes and I PM him asking if he got it in the mail?He responds no but he will get it there.Then a second message saying he didn't have my mailing address and needed it in order to send.Come to find out since I payed using the "send as gift" my address didn't appear.
No biggie so I PM him with it.He comes back with he can't print up a label off of PP's site for some reason and asks me to send .50 cents to him in order to get the address.I PP the .50 cents and he finially gets it in the mail.
I get the package and notice that the deck inside was just sliding around inside.Open it and out of the 6 air pockets 2 remained filled the rest just flat plastic.Since the unit was getting fixed I guess it really didn't matter much.But a better choice of material could have been used.
I inspected everything and noticed some of the parts specifed to be included weren't there.I PM him asking for the nav disk and the antenna that were not included.He PM's me back saying, "his bad and he's sorry they didn't get included in the package." I told him no problem that if he could just get those out to me that would be great.He said they were packed in an envolope and ready for shipping he just needed my OK to send them via mail instead of shipping.I said yes and he was to get them out that day or the following.
Here it is 2 weeks later and no package and no response.I have sent him a couple PM's but haven't heard from him.He has not logged on since 9/28 which was a couple days after he was to send me the antenna and nav disk which was all ready to be shipped.
