WHat wuld you say is the easiest way of testing a sub?? I have 1 mtx rfl in an enclosure, a stinher 3400 watt wireing kit and 2 jbl 1200.1's. I want to test it and see what it is like before installing it just in case i want to sell it instead. WOuld I hook it up to my car or like a stereo in my room??

um you'd have to hook it up in your car, just open the hood run the battery, run ground to about anything, run rcas from the back of hu, then make sure you wire the sub correctly.

Didn't your mother ever tell you that a stupid question deserves a stupid answer?

If you want to "test" the sub, then install it and listen. It's not brain surgery.

I dont think a home receiver could put out enough power to even get that thing moving.
