does anyone know if there are any high end head units coming out...i dont mean the brand you like i mean like alpine f1, pioneer premier PRS, the problem with getting one of the older ultra high end units is you lose the blue tooth and the navigation and the direct ipod control etc. the money isnt a real issue but noone seems to give a crap about quality anymore.

they've gone to the island of ess cue.

in the bungalow next to the cd's

seriously though, the market for hi fidelity in cars is not what it used to be, more and more enthusiasts concentrate solely on their high end home audio now.

Sickening isnt it. :crap:

About the only deck out ther ethat even comes close and really doesnt is the Eclipse CD7200MKII....leaves alot to be desired. Feature rich but not alot in the true hardcore SQ dept. I need to stock up on as many Denons, Denfords and DRZ's as I can find. Oh the Panasonic "bottleheads" too!

problem is people want flexibility. all the sq craze was centered around cds. Cds are obselete. Until a company can figure out how to make sq work with a variety of digital media forms (ipods, flash drives, etc) then there will be a re-emergence. I mean how good do you expect SQ to be when playing songs from your phone really (via bluetooth).

I know where to get a BNIB F#1 Status kit, PXI-H990, DVI-9990 and TMI-M990 for a good deal. PM me if you want it. No it's not like $1000 or anything that low, but it is BNIB. Let's just say it's a lot less than MSRP new.

What's a "good deal" in your eyes?

Well considering the DVI-9990 new was $3500 MSRP, what is a good deal to you for all three pieces to make a complete set? All BNIB and will have their manufacturer's warranty from a local shop...
