Okay so I have a DD9512g that I want to build a box for, never built a box before, what are some tips? I was planning just following the "DD Box" specs, but does anyone have any suggestions?

kinda depends on your preference of music and how much power you will be giving it

i say to port it with aeros...start at 2.5 and work your way down until you get to where you want it. but if it was myself...in my vehicle...i would go with a 2.0-2.2 cuft enclosure with a single 6 inch aero tuned to 40hz. should be pretty loud.

It'll be in my 2010 F-150, I listen to both rap and rock pretty evenly, I'm deciding whether I want to hook up my AQ2200 to it or get something different
Thank you for the suggestions this far!

try 8 cubes and fire them up with 4 6 inch by 8 inch deep aero ports , ports in the middle firing up also should get around 150 db, and when you want to play music cap off two ports with 6 inch plumbing test caps
