Use Sonotube or Quicktube (pillar molds for construction) if you cant find PVC.
Its thick waterproof cardboard, and unlike PVC it doesnt resonate with low bass notes.
It might be available at a Lowes or a Home Depot, but Im not sure.

i saw that and felt it, i can bend and crack that stuff easy. how will it fare being faced frontward so the inside will be flying around since it wont be braced? i would like some more input n these sonance tubes so i can do some research and maybe make a lowes run tonight lol

its an easy fix on that, just add some layers of resin.
i will do that to mine, i am just changing tuning on my box to see what suits me better.

Pvc will not crack, and it does not resonate at low frequencys it is very strong. Unless you find the real contractor sonotube the stuff at lowes is like 1/16 thick and flimsy, youll end up spending tons on resin to stiffen them up.

resin will be a PITA to get allll in there lol. or i guess i could just resin the outside.... lol

It doesn't have the product on the site. I do believe hunterw just goes to his local Ferguson and purchases the pipe.
