I'm building a box for my SPL-12s.

I'm using 3/4" mdf as it is the largest I can buy.

I have 1-3/4" deck screws. They are splitting the MDF.

What should I use to put the box together with? Drywall screws?

do not do not use drywall screws go get 1 5/8" deck screws they are gray and coated trust

1 5/8" coarse drywall screws work perfectly fine, just predrill with a 3/32" bit the full length of the screw...

I ended up getting 1-5/8" fine thread drywall screws.

The holes were pre drilled. And counter sunk too.
