I usually cut the edges at an angle so that they match somewhat screw them together then i slap on a whole bunch of bondo to make it a nice and tight seal.

You can use the calculator at http://www.eatel.net/~amptech/elecdisc/spboxnew2.htm
to figure the front angle of the box. Just set the saw to that angle (round up if it's a fraction) and presto, your face, top and bottom will all align perfectly.

Bondo can develop air bubbles and be a bit of a leaking hazard, so I don't trust it for anything but it's intended use: Cosmetic body filler.

As far as the screws are concerned, just use the regular length. If you cut the angles correctly, you won't have a problem using the regular screws. Make sure you seal with liquid nails, like you said, and predrill all holes...predrilling will stop all woodsplitting dead it it's tracks :)

There are some pictures of a wedge shaped box on my website
http://www.geocities.com/donnballenger/boxes.html
It's the one in the middle.
If you look really closely, you can see how the top and bottom pieces, as well as the face are angle-cut to fit flush.
